The girls’ volleyball team this year had very high expectations for themselves, and so far they have played to those expectations. The girls are 8-1 overall and are looking to make another run in the playoffs. Some notable wins have come against Algonquin and Medway.
The girls have really come together and gelled as a group leading to their outstanding play. Players such as Addie D’luzansky, Sam Kehoe, Maria Hession, and Jess McDermott have played extremely. Kehoe is the leader in kills (spikes for points) and D’Luzansky has established herself as the team’s best server.
With a tough stretch of games coming up notably against Central Catholic and Barnstable, the team is going to need to keep playing a very high level. With the team preforming at a high level, the second half of the season expectations for this group are going to be even more challenging than the first part of the season.
