With only a few games left, the Westborough Rangers football team has a new problem: health. Throughout the season, the Rangers have struggled to keep the team at full strength. Now, with the mono virus going around the school, Westborough Football is as depleted as ever.
At least three players on the team are confirmed to have the virus and as many as three more may also be sick. The last thing the Rangers need right now is an illness going through the locker room and, to make the situation worse, all three players confirmed to have mono are both seniors and starters.
With so many Ranger players out, the team will have to pull together and underclassmen will have to step up to fill in the roles of their sick teammates. Hopefully, the virus can be controlled in the locker room and the team will be at full health by the Thanksgiving game against rival Algonquin.
