This Saturday, September 27th, the Rangers hope to rebound in their homecoming game against the Hudson Hawks. The Rangers come into this game at to 0-2. Following losses to Nashoba and North Middlesex.
Hudson is also 0-2. Their first two losses came against Auburn and Groton-Dunstable.
All five of the Ranger touchdowns in the first two games combined, have been scored by Mike Heffernan (3 rushing, 2 kickoff returns). On defense, eight of the nine touchdowns given up by the Rangers have been on the ground. Senior wide receiver and cornerback Zach Chason says, “I’m very excited for the game on Saturday. We feel Hudson is a team to beat and it would be a great start to our season. We’re going to go out there and win.”
This should be an interesting game. The kickoff is this Saturday at 1pm on the WHS Turf.
