Mrs. Patch, a chemistry teacher for 14 years, recently began her first year at Westborough High School with a positive bond. Feeling welcomed by her new science department colleagues, Mrs. Patch was not nervous to start in a new district.
Even on the first day of school, Mrs. Patch had recognized a few familiar faces. Some WHS students had attended her husband’s volleyball camp known as Patch Camp as well as other students from the Westborough First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Patch graduated from Saint Lawrence University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry and teaching, as well as her Master’s Degree in Education. Following her education, she has worked as a high school chemistry teacher in Uxbridge. Many of her own chemistry teachers influenced her to be the passionate educator she is today.
Aside from her teaching career, Mrs. Patch has coached multiple volleyball and basketball teams. While raising two young daughters in her South Grafton home, Mrs. Patch keeps an active lifestyle between volleyball and church.
Westborough High is very fortunate to be welcoming a kind and knowledgeable addition to their science department. Mrs. Patch is sure to have an impact on many of her students’ minds.
