Both the girls and boys track team have wrapped up their regular season, and are now in the midst of the postseason.

Both teams just had the Midwatch-A league meet, the boys placed second and the girls placed fourth.

Girl’s team head coach Mr. Wilson shared, “I was really pleased with how everyone competed at the league meet. This is just our second year in Mid Wach A and we have made tremendous strides to start to level the playing field with much larger schools like Wachusett, Shrewsbury, and Algonquin. All I can ever ask of anyone is that they give me their best effort and that is exactly what we did.

The girls team finished their regular season with a record of 3-1, and the boys with a record of 2-2.

Girl’s team captain, Steph Hogan stated, “I think the record shows all the work and effort the girls have put in this season. I am very proud of the team and how much our team has improved.”

The teams are now getting ready for the district meet, which will be Saturday, February 11 at Fitchburg High School.

Wilson also claimed, “I am looking forward to seeing how the hard work that has been put in over the last three months pays off.”
