Old Nickelodeon Shows Making a Comeback in 2023

   Old Nickelodeon shows that we all know and love have been making recent comebacks on newer subscription services. You can watch all of these shows on tv services like Netflix and Paramount+, these two streaming services require a paid subscription. Paramount specializes in all Nickelodeon TV shows plus new and upcoming ones.     

     Zoey101 is making the biggest comeback of them all, as most of the main characters reunite for their upcoming film, which as of now is called Zoey102. The announcement was made the afternoon of Thursday, January 12, 2023. People who wrote about the announcement were publishing companies such as People Magazine, CNN, Deadline, Variety, and PopSugar. Shows of the 2000s era are currently making comebacks.

      Zoey101’s first two seasons can be found on Netflix but seasons one through four are available on Paramount+. Both of these services need a paid subscription. This show is about a teenage girl “Zoey”, played by Jamie Lynn Spears, and her roommates at “Pacific Coast Academy” dealing with the struggles of high school. 

      Another show that has made a big comeback is Icarly. Icarly originally aired September 8, 2007. The show follows Carly Shay, played by Miranda Cosgrove and her friends Sam Puckett, played by Jennette McCurdy and Freddy Benson played by Nathan Kress along with her older brother Spencer played by Jerry Trainor . Carly, Sam, and Freddy decided to make a webshow, and the TV show follows their success of having a webshow called Icarly. 

     You can currently watch the original 6 seasons of Icarly on Paramount+ along with the reboot of Icarly that follows Carly Shay in her later years with Spencer and Freddy. And if you don’t have Paramount+ but do have Netflix, you can currently check out the first two seasons of Icarly

     The Nickelodeon boy band show is making a comeback, in 2009 the show Big Time Rush aired on Nickelodeon. BTR Consisted of Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Penavega, James Maslow, and Logan Henderson; the show ended on July 25, 2013. After the band’s hiatus, they reunited at the end of 2021, and released new music including; “Honey”, “Call it Like I See It”, “Not Giving You Up”, and more. In 2022 they made an announcement that they would be going on tour with influencer and singer Dixie D’Amelio.

     All seasons of Big Time Rush can be found on Paramount+ and Netflix plus the Big Time movie on both Streaming services. 

     Henry Danger, a newer show that aired in July 2014, about teenager Henry Hart (Kid Danger) played by Jace Norman, who works alongside Ray Manchester (Captain Man) played by Cooper Barnes, as an undercover superheroes sidekick. This specific series ended not too long ago in March of 2020. However, this was not the end for the series. 

     A few days after the last episode of the show aired, the first episode of the spin-off Danger Force premiered. All seasons of both of these shows are available on Paramount+. Danger Force was recently renewed for a third season, coming out in 2023.  

     Nickelodeon is having great success with their reboots including, Icarly which got renewed for their third season, Zoey101 which has an upcoming film, Big Time Rush with a recent reunion and tour, and Jace Norman from Henry Danger directing an episode of Danger Force
