A new wings restaurant called The Coop opened in Westborough this past summer. We decided to check it out and see if The Coop has better wings than the chain restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings. We rated both the restaurants based on environment, taste, and cost.

First, we went to The Coop. The environment was super cute and they had a wall of chalk drawings, along with many signs and decorations to create a festive look. We ordered three types of wings: The Coop house barbeque, Korean barbeque, dry Coop house rub. We also ordered waffle fries. Overall there was too much sauce on the wings, but the taste was good. There were many other flavors that we could have chosen, but we chose three of the most popular flavors.

At Buffalo Wild Wings, the environment was definitely great for watching a sports game with friends. Here, we ordered three different types of wings as well: teriyaki, honey barbeque, and chipotle barbeque dry rub. In general Buffalo Wild Wings had just the right amount of sauce and the flavors were very enjoyable.

The restaurants were tied for environment and taste, yet with cost, we leaned towards Buffalo Wild Wings. For 18 wings at the Coop, the price was $34.45. For 15 wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, it was $27.05. In general, both restaurants had a great environment and the taste was amazing, so either are a great choice if you are craving some wings.
