After a rough start to the football season with a 19-0 loss to Burlington High School, the Rangers are ready to bounce back with a home game this Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Sharon High School. SHS’s record is 1-0.

Starting quarterback Junior Luke Meleski says “Sharon is a very similar team to us and it’s gonna be a great matchup.”

To be successful in this game the team is looking to fix their mental errors and follow the 3 team characteristics: mental & physical toughness, discipline, and commitment. Over the course of the off-season the team experienced a huge increase in commitment and dedication to the team, from having 20 players in the weight room to more than 40.

Meleski’s goal is to “lead this team to a successful season by working hard and putting We>Me.”

The Homecoming game is also right around the corner on Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m.

Tonight’s game against Sharon High School is at 6:30 p.m. on the turf.
