If you are going through the halls of WHS you may see two of the kindest teachers in the whole school:  Special Education teacher Mrs. Anita Breeze and paraprofessional Ms. Breanna Uhlman.

Before becoming educators at WHS, Mrs. Breeze says, “My husband and I owned a series of health clubs where we helped people become overall healthier.” And Ms. Uhlman shares, “I was a student at WHS and was part of the cheer program and really found myself while cheering. I then went to Hartford University.”

Growing up,  they both had many inspirations but they both shared that they wanted to go into education.  Mrs. Breeze says, “ I love kids and I love to see the progression of them from a freshman to a senior.” Ms. Uhlman adds, “ I love to help people.”

They both said it is the students who make them want to go to school every day.  And WHS has been a wonderful place to work. They both agree, “It has been fantastic, colleagues are fantastic, students are caring and kind, admin is great.”

When asked who inspired them to become who you are today Mrs. Breeze comments, “ My father inspired me and invoked curiosity into me which made me become curious about everything.”

Ms. Uhlman follows up with, “My grandfather.  He got me to be who I want to be and do what I want.”

Mrs. Breeze and Ms. Uhlman enjoy working with one another.

Mrs. Breeze says it’s important that “…the paraprofessional is truly interested in the material and can help the students, so yes because Breanna [Ms. Uhlman] can help the students and she does help the students.”

They have become to enjoy the name that some students have given them, which is The Terrific Tandem.
