WestboroughHigh Schoolstudents are gearing up for Homecoming Week, held on October 1-6. During the week students will have the opportunity to be a part of spirit week, where they display their love of the Rangers.
The themes starting on Monday are as follows: Ranger spirit, New England sports day, Wild West, color war (freshmen= red, sophomores= white, juniors=blue, seniors=tie dye), and ending withAmericaday on Friday. Also, on Friday the annual Homecoming Dance will be held in the gym; the student council is expecting a great outcome for student participation in the dance, as they prepare for the Homecoming festivities the following day.
To start off Saturday, student council has planned a parade that will open for the Westborough Rangers Football team as they playNorth Middlesex. At the Homecoming festival there will be plenty of activities for kids to choose from, a silent auction for adults, and booths run by the Westborough High’s extracurricular clubs. The theme at the game will also beAmerica.
The reason for the theme during this exciting week is to build school spirit and unite the student body to set the tone for the rest of the year. The hard work and effort put into this week ensures that the Homecoming festival will be a huge success for the Westborough Rangers.
