The Westborough Recreation Basketball season started on January 2, 2010. The league is open to grades 9-12. The games are on Sunday morning at Westborough High School.
For many students the start of Rec Basketball brings about many hours of wins and losses and sweat and tears.
Senior Paul Iasiello says “Victory follows greatness, and the road of greatness starts with family. The Arsenis and Iasiello package are the family jewels that are irrisitible to victory, that’s what’s up.”
Senior Matt Rouleau’s opinion of Rec Basketball is “It’s going to be fun and it going to be a great year for all players.”
With the start of the season also brings about predictions who will come in first and who will come in last? Who will win the regular season? What team will win in the playoffs?
Senior Nick Farrar says, “There is going to be a lot of competition.”
