Dave’s Hot Chicken is a fast food restaurant located both in Worcester and Framingham. Dave’s Hot Chicken offers sliders which are served on a potato bun along with kale slaw and Dave’s sauce with the meat being a chicken tender. Dave’s Hot Chicken offers four different types of meals. The Dave’s #1 meal offers two chicken tenders with fries and a side of Dave’s sauce for $12.99. Dave’s #2 meal offers two sliders with fries and a side of Dave’s sauce for $14.99. Dave’s #3 meal contains a tender, a slider, fries, and a side of Dave’s sauce for #13.99. Dave’s #4 meal offers one slider with fries and a side of Dave’s sauce for $10.49. You are also able to get just the slider for $6.99, a single tender for $4.99, and fries for #3.99. You yourself are able to adjust the spiciness level on from no spice to little mild, mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and then finally reaper. You’re also able to choose a drink from a soft drink to a milkshake.
The portion sizes for the food is great, all the meals being very filling. The food portions are great and the meals will definitely be enough. The food is always bursting with flavor and it’s adjustable depending on your tastes and likeness. The atmosphere is really nice, with multiple artworks made on the wall as well the workers there, being super nice.
Much like McDonald’s or Burger King, this place is also your typical fast food place, however, it doesn’t have as many options as these bigger franchises. The menu is smaller with the only meat option being chicken tenders and they have sliders instead of burgers. Similar to Arby’s they have crinkle fries! If you wish to dine in at Dave’s Hot Chicken, it’s harder to find seating inside on busier days, due to it not being as big a dining area as other fast food franchises. However, even if it is busy the wait is never too long and the food is out quick, hot, and ready.
I personally think this place is great for a quick bite. As mentioned before, the food is very filling and you likely won’t feel hungry after. You get tons of fries with your meal, and Dave’s sauce compliments the food extremely well. On top of that, the sliders and the chicken tenders are very flavorful and leave you craving for more. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it.
My sister said this place was the “only mainstream halal food option in the fast food sector”. On top of that the “portion sizes are decent” and the “shakes are amazing”. My friend described it as being “really good”, and one even said “I like their flavors the most” and another friend said “I LOVE IT!”
You can find Dave’s Hot Chicken in Worcester and Framingham only about 20 – 30 minutes from Westborough High School. I would highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you’re Muslim.
