2025 Coachella is being held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, from April 11-13 and 18-20. Some notable artists who are performing include Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Charli XCX, and Travis Scott.
The Coachella music and arts festival is a highly anticipated event that has started in 1999 in Indio, California. It showcased many different artists from different genres and it quickly grew in popularity in 2004. It’s a two-weekend event. A few years ago, people on TikTok have separated both weekends with the first weekend being for influencers who like to party and the second weekend being for the people who are there for the music and experience.
On day zero of Coachella, people had started lining up at the designated entrance at 3:00 AM and were let in at 6:00 AM, following the protocols from the year before. Many people were stuck in their cars for more than 12 hours. A lot of campers took their frustration to TikTok, one Tiktoker by the name of Liss had stated that, “We’ve been stuck in line for nearly 10 hours … It’s 100 degrees outside, people’s cars are overheating, they’re running out of gas, there are no bathrooms anywhere for us to use.” A lot of people had described the situation as very dehumanizing.
Moving on, Lady Gaga took center stage on night one in a two-hour-long performance. She opened with “Bloody Mary” and then shifted off to “Judas”, “Poker Face”, and “Abracadabra”. She also introduced live versions of her songs from her new album “Mayhem,” which was released last month.
Travis Scott had performed on both weekend one and two performing hits “SICKO MODE” and “FE!N”.
Benson Boone had made his debut at Coachella, he performed 11 songs, a few of them being “There She Goes”, “Slow It Down”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” feat Brian May, and of course “Beautiful Things”, also featuring Brian May.
Overall, Coachella 2025 delivered a mix of excitement, chaos, and a lot of amazing performances. Despite the early frustrations with parking and entry lines, the performances made by Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Benson Boone, etc proved why Coachella is one of the most iconic music and arts festivals in the world. Many people are excited about what Coachella 2026 will bring.
