With all the drama and the controversy of the recent news with Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni fans are unsure what side to stand on. Blake Lively is now suing well-known actor, Justin Baldoni, for sexual harassment and intent to “ruin her career” resulting in a $250 million federal lawsuit.
“I don’t want to do anything negative toward her. I don’t want to hurt her.’” Says Justin Baldoni to his attorney Bryan Freedman. But what does that mean? Let’s break it down and uncover the truth about what happened between these two celebrities.
Drama between these two began around the same time the movie came out, which was August 2024. Fans noticed that Blake and the entire cast did not follow Justin on Instagram. That seemed oddly suspicious to fans as you would think they are friends outside of the movie and communicate with one another. However… that does not seem to be the case.
Justin Baldoni starred in and directed the popular movie, It Ends With Us and has talked about what happened on his side of the story. Baldoni shares with US Magazine, “Blake was very involved as well and had a lot of ideas of how this should work. There were many times where I didn’t even say a word, where I was just watching and I was like, yes, that sounds great.” However, that wasn’t how Lively felt. She continued to take the 87-page federal lawsuit against Baldoni and get herself the justice she felt deserved.
