Nautical Bowls in Shrewsbury, MA opened this past Labor Day and has been very popular within the surrounding towns. Many people have been enjoying these fresh and delicious acai bowls as these types of restaurants are not very common in the area.
We got the chance to try Nautical Bowls and we both absolutely loved it. The workers there were so nice and welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. The store is beach-themed and decorated with surfboards as tables, adding to the relaxed coastal environment. You are able to either order a signature bowl or customize your own to your liking. Along with bowls you can also order a superfood smoothie to keep you refreshed while enjoying your bowl.
These bowls are organic, all-natural, have essential vitamins, and are fueled with nutrients. Not only that but these bowls are dairy-free, plant-based, gluten-free, and soy-free. So, many customers with these allergies have a variety of bowls to choose from that are safe for them to eat.
When building your own bowl, which is what I tried, you get the option to pick a base, granola, fruit, dry toppings, drizzles, and protein. In my bowl, I chose acai for the base, honey granola, bananas and strawberries, and coconut flakes. This bowl was the perfect choice for me with the right amount of granola and fresh fruit flavor on top. I would totally recommend customizing your bowl as there are many different options for many different people, with different tastes and palates.
The other bowl that we tried was the “Nauti Bowl.” This bowl is filled with Acai, pitaya, granola, bananas, cacao nibs, and peanut butter. This bowl was the perfect fit for people who have a love for peanut butter as the bowl has the perfect, rich creamy texture that was delicious to eat.
If you aren’t interested in trying the acai bowls there are superfood smoothies, that vary in different flavors and add-ins, that are still super healthy and tasteful! There are six tasty smoothies that are all made with almond milk, and different types of fruits.
Nautical Bowls is definitely a fan favorite and we now can see why! We will surely go here again as the service and bowls were both delightful and joyous!
