This time of the year, love is all around! And many schools including Fales, Hastings, and Armstrong Elementary celebrate Valentine’s Day with fun crafts and activities for the kids. At Hastings, the students decorate fun Valentine mailboxes in which other students put little notes. Also coloring fun bookmarks is fun for the kids. At Fales, there are fun activities run by the EDP staff such as decorating little heart-shaped cookies with red and pink frosting, sprinkles, and more. The kids love this time of year as it is a fun week before break where they can relax and enjoy making fun crafts with their classmates! Some classes are spending some time passing out handwritten notes, and other cute cards. Kids can wear fun Valentine’s colors and accessories as it is an exciting way to celebrate!
