Super Bowl LVI: Two Forces Face Off

Ben Grossman '22, Executive Producer

This Sunday, Super Bowl LVI will take place between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. This Super Bowl is expected to have one of the highest viewership ratings of all time as we are seeing a top offense and a top defense square off.

The Rams come from the NFC after a dominant 12-5 season: they were going for gold. They have proceeded to absolutely lock down offenses this playoff stretch. The Rams defense is led by Defensive End Aaron Donald, and Cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Donald and Ramsey are both top-ranked players in their positions but will have their work cut out for them this week against the Bengals.

The Bengals are the AFC representative in this year’s Super Bowl. The Bengals are piloted by their Quarterback Joe “Shiesty” Burrow and Wide Receiver Jamaar Chase. Burrow and Chase won the Collegiate National Championship in 2019 at Louisiana State University together and are looking to win another ring this year.

With football’s best offense and defense battling this week we are absolutely in for an exciting game. The Rams and Bengals will battle on America’s biggest stage this Sunday, February 13, at 6:30 pm EST.
