This Wednesday is the Volleyball Team’s annual Dig Pink game to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. This event is going to be awesome. I expect to see the whole student body at this game sporting all the pink articles of clothing they own. And I mean everything. Pink socks, pink shoes, pink hats, pink shirts, pink pants, pink ties, pink underwear (though you should probably not show that), if you don’t catch my drift already, just wear a lot of pink. I will be making multiple Wal-mart/Target runs this week just so there isn’t a non pink part of attire for the game.

Not only do I want to see everyone wearing pink at the game, I want everyone watching and cheering on our Rangers as they battle against Algonquin. I want the fans to be a factor in this game. I want people outside the high school to  know that there is game going on inside. A few years back when we won the State Championship Coach Anderson was quoted in an article saying the fans were a huge part of their success that season. Also an oppossing coach said the determining factor in one of the deciding tournament games was us, the fans. And since none of us want Algonquin leaving our gym on top, we once again have to be that deciding factor in the game. So please come out this Wednesday, the 6th,6:30pm, at the Fisher Gym to support our Rangers Volleyball team and bring money to donate to Dig Pink. Thank you all.
