The Freshmen Girls’ soccer team started off their season on the right foot with their first victory against North Middlesex on September 16. The two teams were tied when Shannon Connors served a leading corner kick to Mia Natalie who headed in the ball to break the tie and achieve a personal victory with the hat trick.
Coach Sharon Connors concluded, “Although it was a great win, the players were a little disorganized as they were all learning how to play as a team for the first time. However I almost know they will improve.”
The Girls’ Freshmen team’s next game is Monday September 20 where they will face Algonquin Regional High School.
