In celebration of screen free week throughout the first week of May, the Teen Zone will be hosting The “Great Octopus Race” taking place on Thursday, May 6. This event is open to all ages, focusing mainly on families, teens, and adults. Teams will compete in a race around Westborough in efforts to collect eight different numerical codes from locations they uncover using a map of clues. The main goal is to be one of the first eight teams to finish the challenge. Top finishers will be awarded a giftcard to a local business as well as a reversible octopus.
Registration for this event is required. It is also important to note that when signing up, make sure to do so as a team rather than individuals. This event is to be done on foot, driving is not permitted. Teams can start the challenge by checking in on the library lawn anytime between 5 and 6 p.m. Specific arrival instructions will be emailed to you prior to the event.
All Teen Zone events will adhere to current Covid-19 guidelines and protocols with masks being required.
