Mooyah: Northborough’s Newest Burger Shop is a Must Visit

Mooyah is located in the brand new lower section of Northborough Crossing right off Route 9. It is an exciting new place to conveniently order great burgers, fries, and shakes. The Mooyah franchise is new to the area, opening its first and only store in Massachusetts in late November.
Mooyah is famous for their special Mooyah sauce which is a must for any of their burgers. The majority of their menu features a variety of different burgers from which to choose including a build your own burger option. Their menu also includes veggie burgers and chicken sandwiches for vegetarians or for those who aren’t in the mood for a burger. For dessert Mooyah offers a variety of delicious shakes with a surplus of different flavors and candies.
We ordered two burgers–one was the Mooyah burger which has the Mooyah special sauce that tastes like honey mustard. It was delicious and we would order it again. We also ordered a chicken sandwich and two shakes: chocolate and M & M. It is obvious the shakes are made from high quality ice cream, and the burgers were very well cooked and great toppings finished the burgers off well. The chicken sandwich was nothing special, so we’d recommend sticking to the burgers.
Mooyah has a very welcoming environment with an upbeat, even if cramped, dining area. With the order line starting right near the door, there may often be lines running outside, but that shouldn’t cause distress, as the staff is fast-moving, and well trained. There is usually rock music blaring in the background.
Mooyah is moderately expensive. The individual burger costs $5.50 and then adding on toppings makes the price increase quickly. The shakes cost $3.99 for a small and $4.99 for a large.
Mooyah is putting a spin on the fast food trend that has been sweeping across America by making their burgers fresh from natural ingredients. It joins popular restaurants like Five Guys, Shake Shack, and b.Good which are all moving in this same direction. However, Mooyah sets itself apart, by having found a way to make high quality, natural food, without sacrificing great taste.
