Maddy Walters, a sophomore at Westborough High, is interested in fashion and is very fashionable, herself. Every day, she walks down the halls with a new and unique look. Walters uses trendy pieces of clothing to add edge and sophistication to her outfits. Many girls look up to Walters as their fashion icon. She travels for fashion shows and designs her own clothes in hopes to work in the fashion industry one day.

Walters says the Patagonia sweatshirts are very trendy at WHS. “They are cute and comfy.” Many girls wear Patagonias all the time, usually in the winter.

Adidas, the original go-to athletic store, has switched gears and has turned into a center of fashion. As well as still selling athletic shoes and clothing, they have started to sell items that have grown in demand since the release of Kanye West’s “Yeezy” collection. Popular items, like the black and white track jacket and the superstar shoes, are currently trending in Westborough High School. Adidas is the place to go to change up one’s style.

Walters believes that Adidas is becoming more popular at the school. “ I love Adidas! They’ve really reinvented the entire brand these last few years, adding much more fashionable sportswear instead of just carrying active wear. Their superstar shoes really took off towards the end of last year and now I swear every other person has them… because they’re so cute and comfortable.”

Without a doubt, white Converse are a huge trend. A wide variety of girls that attend Westborough High School have them. Walters says, “whether they’re high top or low, leather or canvas, so many girls have these shoes. They go with everything and make anybody’s legs tanner than they appear.” However, Walters is more into the Nike sneakers and Adidas shoes, rather than Converse.
