Countdown to April Break!
Have a Wonderful Break!

Twilight Soundtrack Compliments Hit Movie

by Stephanie Melvin

As the much anticipated movie, “Twilight,” came out on November 21th, the CD was released on November 4, 2008 by Atlanta (USA). This soundtrack contains twelve songs that were featured in the movie.

According to Tower.com, the “Twilight” Soundtrack has reached #1 in both best soundtrack and best general soundtrack categories.  This may be because of the quality of the songs on it, such as “Decode” by Paramore and “Bella’s Lullaby” by Carter Burwell.  Rock band Paramore wrote a special song specifically for “Twilight.”  It is called “Decode”, and is very catchy.  The song has an eerie tone to it, yet it fits the movie very well.  With its beautiful orchestra, “Bella’s Lullaby” definitely brings the beautiful composition from the book to life. This song may be one of the most anticipated songs, beacuse in the book Edward plays a lullaby for Bella.  The songs on the CD are mesmerizing; once you hear them you can not forget them.

All in all, each of the twelve songs on the “Twilight” Soundtrack really enhance this great movie, and sets the tone for the series.
